Thunder Mountain Lodge and
Preserve, located in northeast Alabama, provides an exceptional setting
for the most discriminating hunter. The property's ridges and hollows
abound with beautiful hardwoods, trickling streams and tranquil ponds.
The Preserve offers a highly challenging and rewarding deer hunting
experience. In off-season the lodge is a great place to stay for a
family vacation or business retreat.
Thunder Mountain also offers the ultimate experience in quail hunting. Part
of our property is designated strictly for quality habitat for quail,
including pine plantation, open fields, feed strips and hardwoods. We plant
feed strips consisting of milo, millet, and lespedezas. You will have a
professional guide who will have plenty of well-trained dogs from our kennels
to choose from. Your hunt can be modified to your specifications.
